During his ongoing high-level engagements in Iran, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met General Mohsen Rezaei, the Iranian Supreme Leader’s representative and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, also held a meeting with Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni. The meetings focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security, border management and strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Iran.

These high-level engagements reflect Pakistan’s increasingly active role in regional diplomacy and security affairs.

A Stronger Pakistan on the International Stage

Pakistan’s growing diplomatic outreach is taking place alongside important developments on the economic front. Improvements in foreign exchange reserves, progress under the IMF programme, fiscal discipline and positive signals from international rating agencies are helping strengthen confidence in Pakistan’s economic direction.

At the strategic level, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s international engagements are helping project Pakistan as a confident, responsible and strategically important country. His meetings with senior military, security and political leadership from friendly and neighbouring countries demonstrate Pakistan’s commitment to regional stability, security and cooperation.

The combination of diplomatic engagement, economic stabilisation and strategic partnerships could further enhance Pakistan’s international standing in the months ahead.

Under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan is seeking to strengthen its voice on international platforms while protecting its national interests and expanding cooperation with key partners.
