A dinner was hosted by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in honour of former Pakistan Army soldiers and senior officers.
Among the prominent attendees were former Army Chiefs General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and General Raheel Sharif, along with General Sahir.
When asked about the absence of former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, it was learned that he has fully recovered and is currently in the Gulf states celebrating the birthday of his twin grandsons. His absence from the gathering is therefore believed to be due to his family commitments.
The dinner brought together several senior military figures in a gathering marked by camaraderie and respect for the institution’s former leadership.
