High Commissioner Tipu Usman Meets British-Pakistani Philanthropist Asif Rangoonwala

London: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Tipu Usman, welcomed renowned British-Pakistani entrepreneur, philanthropist, and Vice Chair of the British Asian Trust, Mr. Asif Rangoonwala, CBE, during a meeting at the Pakistan High Commission in London.

During the meeting, High Commissioner Tipu Usman praised Mr. Rangoonwala’s longstanding contributions to promoting art, culture, education, and social welfare in both the United Kingdom and Pakistan. He commended Mr. Rangoonwala’s exemplary leadership and extensive philanthropic initiatives, highlighting their significant impact on community development and empowerment.

The two sides also exchanged views on strengthening people-to-people contacts, expanding cultural cooperation, and enhancing engagement with the Pakistani diaspora in the UK.

Mr. Rangoonwala congratulated High Commissioner Tipu Usman on his appointment and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure. He reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the Pakistan High Commission to further deepen Pakistan–UK cultural relations and strengthen ties with the British-Pakistani community.
